Disney Cruise Line has announced that in addition to the already announced 2020 dates, Star Wars™ Day at Sea will be returning to nine select sailings on the Disney Fantasy in early 2021! This day long celebration brings Star Wars™ fun to a ship in a galaxy far, far away – in the Caribbean.
From Jedis-in-training to Jedi Masters, there will be events geared to guests of all ages. Planned activities include:
- Star Wars™ Deck Party and Fireworks
- Evening filled with Music, Dancing, Games, and show
- Deck party ends with a spectacular display of themed pyrotechnics, lasers, lighting, sound effects and Star Wars™ music
- Themed Youth and Family Activities
- Dress up in your own stellar costumes
- Jedi Training Academy experience teaches young “Padawans” lightsaber moves to face off against the evil Darth Vader
- Star Wars™ Trivia
- Star Wars™-themed crafts, games and activities in Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab for youth
- Meet and Greets with favorite Star Wars™ characters
- Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2 and Darth Vader and others will hold scheduled meet and greets and roam the decks and elsewhere around the ship
- At-Sea screenings of Star Wars™ films
- Watch some of your favorite Star Wars™ films in the saga
- Special Food/Beverage Offerings
All the intergalactic fun of Star Wars™ Day at Sea will occur one day during select 7-night Western and Eastern Caribbean Disney Fantasy sailings. Those sailing dates are:
Western Caribbean – includes stops in Cozumel, Mexico; Falmouth, Jamaica; Grand Cayman and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay
- 2020 – Feb. 1, 15 and 29
- 2021 – Jan. 2, 16, 30; Feb. 13, 27
Eastern Caribbean – includes stops in either Tortola or St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay
- 2020 – Feb. 8, 22
- 2021 – Jan. 9, 23; Feb. 6, 20
