2017 ‘Night of Joy’ at Walt Disney World® Resort

This September, the sounds of Christian rock, pop, and gospel will fill the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex as the 35th Night of Joy takes place at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Happening Fri. Sep. 8 and Sat. Sep. 9, the event will feature a mix of new and returning performers. The entertainment schedule for this year’s event is:

Live Streaming of ‘Night of Joy’ from Magic Kingdom® Park

Tonight and tomorrow night, Magic Kingdom® Park will host the 32nd annual Night of Joy! During this after-hours event, the sounds of Christian rock, pop, and gospel will fill the park from a mix of new and returning performers.

It’s not too late for you to enjoy Night of Joy even though the event is completely sold out. Both night’s entertainment will be streamed over the internet beginning at 7 p. EDT each night.

2012 Night of Joy Line-Up

In just a few weeks, Walt Disney World® Resort will host Night of Joy. Taking place inside the Magic Kingdom® Park for 30 years now, this contemporary Christian music festival provides guests with spiritual live performances by music superstars. In addition to the concert performances, select Magic Kingdom® Park attractions will also be available to guests.

2010 Christian music Artist of the Year Casting Crowns and past Christian music “Artists of the Year” Third Day, mercyme and Chris Tomlin head a star-powered 16-act lineup set for Disney’s Night of Joy 2010 Sept. 10-11 when the long-running Christian music event makes its return to Magic Kingdom® Park at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida.

Get set for a star-powered 15-act lineup set for Disney’s Night of Joy 2010.  Past Christian music “Artists of the Year” Third Day, mercyme and Chris Tomlin as well as 2010 “Artist of the Year” nominees Casting Crowns and Francesca Battistelli head the long-running Christian music event makes its return to Magic Kingdom this September 10 & 11.

Also part of the two-night event: David Crowder*Band, Family Force 5, Red, BarlowGirl, Group 1 Crew, Night of JoyDay of Fire, Smokie Norful,Lecrae, 10th Avenue North and Sidewalk Prophets.  Each night, hear live performances by today’s top bands in contemporary Christian rock, pop and gospel as you ride some of the Park’s most rockin’ attractions.  Musically, the acts add up to a lineup that runs the spectrum from Rock, Hip Hop and R&B to Pop, Adult Contemporary and Gospel, continuing a tradition that has been a hallmark of Night of Joy since 1983 when the event began.  The Night of Joy artists will perform on several stages around the Magic Kingdom® theme park, which means you can choose from different musical performances and locations throughout the festival.

Star-Powered, 16-Act Lineup Slated for Night of Joy 2008 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Night of Joy at Walt Disney World Resort, regarded as one of the top contemporary Christian music events in the country, will feature a 16-act lineup Sept. 5-6 that includes Gospel Music Association Dove Awards winners such as current Artist of the Year Chris Tomlin, Group of the Year Casting Crowns and New Artist of the Year Aaron Shust plus 2004 Artist of the Year MercyMe and enduringly popular tobyMac and Rebecca St. James.

Now in its 26th year, Night of Joy is moving to a new venue, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which features both outstanding concert locations and must-do thrill attractions. Guests attending Night of Joy, which takes place from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. (after regular theme park hours), can combine an evening of rockin’ Christian music with the thrills and chills of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror plus the shoot-’em-up fun of Toy Story Mania!

Concerts will take place at several stage locations, with eight national recording acts performing each evening. Here’s how they’ll line up:

Sept. 5 Tomlin, MercyMe, St. James, BarlowGirl, Matthew West, Rush of Fools, Brandon Heath and Britt Nicole.

Sept. 6 Casting Crowns, tobyMac, Fred Hammond, Marcos Witt, Mandisa, Shust, RED and Pure NRG.

The lineup represents a continuation of Night of Joy’s historic blend of musical talents — from Christian pop and rock to contemporary Gospel, Urban and hip-hop to Praise and Worship. Half of this year’s acts have won Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, one of Christian music’s highest honors. More than one million guests have experienced Night of Joy from 1983 through 2007, a 25-year period during which the event was held in Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom.
