Disney's Wilderness Lodge
The majesty and grandeur of the great Northwest American spirit echo throughout this relaxing mountain retreat. Yee-haw! Ready for a rowdy meal? This hootin' and hollerin' good time restaurant serves regional barbecue favorites and award-winning chili. Sit down around a roaring campfire to a hearty meal served family-style in this woodsy retreat overlooking a forested view of slash pines. It's the best grub east of the Rockies! Get ready to join in: We've got stories, games and a song or two. You can even ride your own hobby horse in our "pony express" or do the hokey pokey! The goings-on can get a little loud - and that's the way we like it! You can choose from the all-you-care-to-eat skillets or an a la carte menu selection. Little rangers will love the kids' menu.
Before you venture out for a day of exploring the "World," start with a hot 'n hearty breakfast. The Skillet includes scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage, buttermilk biscuits, gravy and waffles. A la carte items include just about everything breakfast this campfire can cook up including eggs, french toast, pancakes, waffles, steak, omelets and corned beef hash.
As high noon approaches, join our traders and town folk for a great lunch selection from our Skillet featuring smoked pork ribs, oven-roasted chicken, and pork sausage served with beans, corn on the cob, coleslaw, yukon gold mashed potatoes, and corn bread. A la carte items include burgers, chicken, hot dogs, a variety of sandwiches and salads.
After a long day on the trail, the Whispering Canyon Cafe is the place for food and fun. This sizzlin' Skillet starts with mixed greens with apple vinaigrette dressing and corn bread. Then move on to smoked pork ribs, pulled pork, chicken, pork sausage, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, beans, and corn on the cob. A la carte items include chicken, meatloaf, pork chops, BBQ meats and fish.
