Child Swap Information
Child Swap is designed to allow both parents of small children who may not meet the height requirements to ride an attraction, without having to wait in a long line twice. To utilize Child Swap, speak with the Cast Member at the entrance to an attraction. They will either instruct you to wait in line together (and show you a waiting area near the ride boarding area) or they will provide you with a Child Swap return ticket (good for yourself and three guests) that you can use via the FASTPASS® entrance after the first parent has waited in line.

Disney FASTPASS® Service
Disney FASTPASS® Service is a ride reservation system designed to reduce your wait times so that you can maximize your time in the parks! Disney FASTPASS® Service is only offered at select attractions, and for some attractions only during peak times of the year! See below for a listing of current Disney FASTPASS® Service attractions, subject to change!
Using Disney FASTPASS® Service
To use Disney FASTPASS® Service instead of waiting in the ‘stand-by’ line, look for the “FASTPASS® Distribution” sign near the entrance of an attraction and be sure to check the return time!
- If the return time works for you, have a single member of your party insert each valid admission ticket for your entire group into Disney FASTPASS® Service machine.
- You will receive a Disney FASTPASS® Service receipt with your return time printed on it, so that you can go play in the park instead of waiting. TIP: Look on the bottom of your FASTPASS® to find out when another FASTPASS® will be available to you.
- Return to the FASTPASS® entrance within your return time window, present your park ticket, and enjoy the attraction with a minimal wait. IMPORTANT: Everyone in your group must have an individual FASTPASS® to ride!
Disney FASTPASS® Tips
- Disney FASTPASS® Service is best used when wait times exceed 30 minutes or longer at an attraction.
- Obtain a FASTPASS® for your favorite, popular attraction early, there are only a limited number of FASTPASS® tickets per attraction, per day! Radiator Springs Racers FASTPASS® tickets are distributed near It’s Tough to be a Bug (not in Cars Land), and go fast! Be sure to get this FASTPASS® immediately upon park opening.
- Always be sure to check FASTPASS® return times when obtaining a ticket to be sure it is not after you plan to leave or during a dining reservation or show you wish to attend.
- Choose a FASTPASS® runner who can take your tickets to the kiosk to obtain a FASTPASS® for each person in your group. Keep in mind they will have all of your tickets, so make sure the runner is reliable!

Disney MaxPass Service
When you purchase the Disney MaxPass feature (currently $10 per day per ticket), you’re able to make FASTPASS® selections right from your phone using the Disneyland app. NOTE: We suggest checking the day’s FASTPASS® availability and park details before purchasing.
How to Use:
- Link your tickets to your Disneyland app.
- After entering either of the parks, tap “Get FASTPASS®” to make your Disney FASTPASS® selection. You’ll be able to make FASTPASS® selections only for the tickets you’ve linked that have the Disney MaxPass feature. TIP: If you have a Park Hopper ticket, you can make selections in either park, as long as you’ve entered one.
- When it’s time to enjoy the attraction, head to the FASTPASS® Return entrance and hold your mobile device up to the scanner so it can read your Disney FASTPASS® redemption code.
If your plans change, you can easily cancel or change (based on availability) your selection on the My Plans screen.
