Walt Disney Imagineering announced that The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management) at Magic Kingdom® Park is already undergoing changes behind closed doors that will reshape the attraction into a version reminiscent of the original show.

The Walt Disney World® attraction, originally called Tropical Serenade, has been entertaining guests since the theme park’s opening day on Oct. 1, 1971. Its winged hosts, Jose, Fritz, Pierre and Michael, led 200 other birds, tikis and flowers in an entertaining musical Polynesian revue. Tropical Serenade was reshaped into The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management) in 1998, with the addition of Iago (from “Aladdin”) and Zazu (from “The Lion King”).

The latest version of the attraction, which will be called Enchanted Tiki Room, will debut at Magic Kingdom Park later this summer.

• First Hand Experiences: Disney will be offering us more opportunities to train and to become even more knowledgeable.  While all of our Magic Makers® have completed the College of Disney Knowledge (a training program from Disney), we will now have opportunities to experience onsite training at the highest level along with attending a yearly conference for EarMarked Agencies.  This conference is an excellent chance to learn more, and all of these opportunities will allow us to achieve the best possible service levels for you.
• A Better Future: The “Authorized Disney Vacation Planner” program is not entered into lightly.  We had to prove ourselves through several benchmarks, and that does not go away by simply signing the contract.  We will continue to prove that we are worthy to remain in the program by increasing our knowledge, clients, and love for everything that is Disney.  Simply put, if we are striving for this, you can know that your future with us will be even better as you continue to rely on us for wonderful Disney Vacations.

Fans of this favorite Disney California Adventure Park show will now have a new place to see the Genie and get swept away in “A Whole New World.”

A new Broadway-style production will take the stage in the Walt Disney Theatre aboard the Disney Fantasy™. This show brings to life the story from a classic animated Disney film – “Aladdin.” New to Disney Cruise Line®, “Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular” is a fast-paced musical comedy where Aladdin, the “street rat” of Agrabah, meets a wise-cracking Genie who grants him three wishes.

Along the way, Aladdin battles the evil Jafar and falls in love with Princess Jasmine. Kids and adults alike are all going to love this entertaining show!

If you’re hoping there will be a flying magic carpet scene, your wish is coming true. With the help of mechanical wizardry and state-of-the-art projections, Aladdin and Jasmine will perform “Whole New World” as they soar on a romantic magic carpet ride.

It’s a magical night of special holiday entertainment including Castle Dreamlights!, an enchanting holiday parade, “Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade,” featuring Santa Claus, a festive nighttime fireworks spectacular, Disney Character greetings, live stage shows and tasty treats on Main Street, U.S.A.®, plus the most popular Magic Kingdom® attractions!

Castle Dreamlights!
Cinderella Castle is transformed every night at the Magic Kingdom® Park during Castle Dreamlights! When Mickey and friends realize the castle isn’t decorated for the holidays, they enlist the help of Cinderella, the Prince, and even the Fairy Godmother! With all of their help, Cinderella Castle transforms into a glorious, wintry confection, twinkling in the sky!
