2017 ‘Night of Joy’ at Walt Disney World® Resort

This September, the sounds of Christian rock, pop, and gospel will fill the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex as the 35th Night of Joy takes place at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Happening Fri. 2017 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tickets Available

Many of us are just beginning to enjoy warmer weather, but Magic Kingdom® Park is already busy planning for this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties. While specific details of the specially-ticketed party has not been released, we do know that “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade,” “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” and “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks will all return this year.

2017 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Event Dates:

  • Aug. – 25, 29
  • Sep. – 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, and 29
  • Oct. – 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, and 31
  • Nov. – 1

Pricing varies by date, but adult tickets run $74-$115 plus tax and tickets for children (ages 3-9) run $69-$110 plus tax.

Note: Disney Parks have revised their costuming guidelines for special events in their theme parks. 2017 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets Available

Magic Kingdom® Park has announced dates for this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! While full details of the specially-ticketed party have not been released, we do know that “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade,” “Holiday Wishes,” “A Frozen Holiday Wish,” and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration are scheduled to return!

2017 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Event Dates

  • Nov. 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 26, and 28
  • Dec. 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, and 22

Pricing varies by date, but adult tickets run $89-$109 plus tax and tickets for children (ages 3-9) run $84-$104 plus tax.

Behind the Walls of ‘Pandora – The World of Avatar’

We are excitedly awaiting the opening of Pandora – The World of Avatar which will debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park on May 27, 2017! 2017 ‘Garden Rocks’ Concert Series Lineup Announced

Live music will once take center stage when the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival returns this spring!

The Garden Rocks™ Concert Series invites a broad range of decades and popular artists to the 24th annual Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival, which takes place Mar. 1 – May 29, 2017.

Happening each Friday through Monday of the Festival, the Garden Rocks™ Concert Series welcomes several new-to-the-festival acts and some fan favorites from past years. This year’s lineup includes:

Star Wars™ Fun at Walt Disney World® Resort

Back in 2015, The Walt Disney Company announced an expansion to bring new Star Wars™-themed lands to both Disneyland® Park in Anaheim and Disney’s Hollywood Studios® in Orlando. While preparations and construction for those lands are in progress (no opening dates have been announced), some new Star Wars™-themed fun has already started in the parks – and there’s more to come at the Walt Disney World® Resort!

Here’s a look at what’s available:

Stars Tours® – The Adventures Continue

Star Tours® – The Adventures Continue attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® now includes adventures with locations and characters from the popular Star Wars™: The Force Awakens. Soon, the attraction will once again be randomized to both start and end at different locations for every galactic journey. Also, new scenes from Star Wars™: Episode VIII will be added to within the coming year.

Jedi Training Academy 

A current favorite of young Padawans, Jedi Training Academy was recently reimagined. Now called Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, trainees face Darth Vader and the Seventh Sister – a new villain from Disney XD’s Star Wars Rebels.

Star Wars™ Launch Bay 

This interactive experience takes guests into the Star Wars™ Saga and hit film, Star Wars™: The Force Awakens. The experience features special exhibits and visits with favorite Star Wars™ characters like Chewbacca and Kylo Ren. Located inside the Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, the area will soon feature new props from Rogue One: A Star Wars™ Story and show a behind-the-scenes film, “Meet the Makers.”

Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away

This live stage show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® celebrates iconic moments from the Star Wars™ saga with live vignettes featuring popular Star Wars™ characters, such as Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and Darth Maul. Starting Dec. 16, AWR Troopers from Rogue One: A Star Wars™ Story will join the show. The show takes place multiple times each day at the Center Stage area near The Great Movie Ride®.

Stormtroopers March

Happening several times daily, the First Order’s strength is on display as Captain Phasma leads a squad of First Order stormtroopers from Star Wars™ Launch Bay to the Center Stage area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®.

Star Wars™: A Galactic Spectacular

On Dec. 16, 2016, the current Star Wars™: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks show will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios®.

Star Wars™: A Galactic Spectacular lights up the sky with Star Wars™-themed fireworks, lasers, light projections and other special effects combined with music and iconic characters and scenes from throughout the saga.

From Dec.16-31, it will join Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! as a second nightly fireworks spectacular. In 2017, the show will be presented at a schedule that has yet to be announced.

Star Wars™: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party

Returns on Dec. 31, 2016 for New Year’s Eve and will reopen in 2017. CLICK HERE for more details on the party.

Star Wars™ Guided Tour

Starting in 2017, a seven-hour guided tour will provide guests with a full Force all-access adventure. For $129, guests will receive:

  • Screening of Star Wars™: Path of the Jedi
  • Reserved viewing of 2 live stage shows—Star Wars™: A Galaxy Far, Far Away and March of the First Order
  • Participate in Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple (ages 4-12)
