2021 Epcot® Candlelight Processional Dining Packages Now Available

Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) for the 2021 EPCOT® Candlelight Processional Dining packages are now available!  These dining packages pair a delicious lunch or dinner at select EPCOT® table service restaurants with a holiday show that will leave you in awe!

After enjoying your meal, you will receive a pass for reserved seating for one of that evening’s Candlelight Processionals showings. The Candlelight Processional – a joyous retelling of the Christmas story performed by a celebrity narrator, a 50-piece orchestra, and a mass choir – is one of the most beloved holiday traditions at the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Dinner packages are available for the following EPCOT® restaurants:

  • Biergarten Restaurant
  • Coral Reef Restaurant
  • The Garden Grill Restaurant
  • Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room

Candlelight Dining Packages start at $62 per adult plus tax (pricing varies by location) and includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert or one (1) full buffet (where applicable), along with a non-alcoholic beverage. Separate park admission is required. While purchasing the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package is not required to see the show, we recommend it as the Candlelight Processional shows tend to fill up quickly due to popularity.

This year’s Celebrity Narrators announced include:

  • Nov. 26 – 28 – Auli’i Cravalho
  • Nov. 29 – Dec. 1 – Chita Rivera
  • Dec. 2 – 4 – Jodi Benson

New Dining Plan and Ticket Add-On Available at Walt Disney World® Resort

Walt Disney World® Resort has just announced the addition of two new options that will allow your Magic Maker® to build a vacation package that’s a perfect fit for your family at a great value!

Disney Dining Plan Plus

Starting today, a new dining plan option has been added to the previous lineup of offerings. Called Disney Dining Plan Plus, this gives each guest two meals per night of their package stay to redeem at their choice of either table service restaurants or quick service locations. This is a perfect “in-between” plan for our guests that loved the flexibility of the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan but don’t want three full meals a day! Like the other dining plans, the new one will also come with two snacks per person per night and one Disney Resort hotel refillable drink mug.

Here’s an overview of the current dining plan offerings:

Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan

  • 2 Meals:
    2 Quick-Service Meals
    No Table-Service Meals
  • 2 Snacks/NonAlcoholic Drinks
  • 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug Per Person
  • No Special Dining Experience

Disney Dining Plan

  • 2 Meals:
    1 Quick-Service Meal
    1 Table-Service Meal
  • 2 Snacks/NonAlcoholic Drinks
  • 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug Per Person
  • Plus, redeem your meals for Special Dining Experiences, including Character Dining!

Disney Dining Plan Plus

  • 2 Meals – Any Combo of:
    Quick-Service Meal
    Table-Service Meal
  • 2 Snacks/NonAlcoholic Drinks
  • 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug Per Person
  • Plus, redeem meals for Special Dining Experiences, including Character Dining!

Disney Deluxe Dining Plan

  • 3 Meals – Any Combo of:
    Quick-Service Meals
    Table-Service Meals
  • 2 Snacks/NonAlcoholic Drinks
  • 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug Per Person
  • Plus, redeem your meals for Special Dining Experiences, including Character Dining!

*Per person per night. The specific number of meal options and snacks are determined by the number of nights included in the package stay however, meals can be rolled over and redeemed in any order throughout the vacation. Resort-Refillable Drink Mug is one per person (age 3+) per stay.

Water Park and Sports Option

A new add-on to select theme park tickets called Water Park and Sports Option will give you admission to many of the resort’s most popular recreational activities. For $70 plus tax, you can experience the splashiest thrills at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Parks, live your basketball dreams at The NBA Experience, attend events at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and test your skills at Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, FootGolf at Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course or Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course. Some usage restrictions apply, so ask your Magic Maker® for full details.

The total number of admissions you will receive with this option is based on the length of your theme park ticket. For example, with a 5-day ticket that you choose to include the Water Park and Sports Option on, you’ll have five visits to any of the above locations. How you use these admissions is totally up to you! You can use all the admissions on the same day or repeat the same experience across multiple days.

Ask your Magic Maker® how these two new options can add convenience and value to your next Walt Disney World® Resort vacation!

Breaking the Myths – Where to Stay at the Walt Disney World® Resort

After deciding when you would like to visit the Walt Disney World® Resort, the next step is deciding where you want to stay. While working with their guests, our Magic Makers® often run into some misconceptions when it comes to accommodations at the Walt Disney World® Resort. As a continuation of our “Breaking the Myths” series, today we look at lodging.

  1. Myth: I can receive the same benefits staying at a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotel as I do staying at a Resort Hotel.
Staying at a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotel allows you stay “near the Magic” in accommodations just a short drive from the Theme Parks. While these hotels have all met Disney’s quality and service standards, they do not offer all of the Magical Extras that the Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels offer Disney’s Magical Express® Transportation to/from Orlando International Airport and the option of adding the Disney Dining Plans. Other features like Extra Magic Hours and early access to Disney FastPass+ planning vary by the hotel chosen. While most of the Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotels do offer transportation to and from the theme parks, the schedule and frequency of the transportation is often limited.
  2. Myth: I can always save money by staying offsite for my Walt Disney World® Vacations.
When taking a vacation to the Walt Disney World® Resort, there are countless lodging options for your family. While some offsite properties may offer a lower per night rate, that savings can quickly diminish when you add in extra expenses occurred with those properties. Transportation (cost and time) to/from the airport and theme parks, parking fees, dining costs, and resort fees can quickly add up! Plus, these offsite properties are excluded from most of Walt Disney World® Resort’s specials and promotions!
  3. Myth: As a military family, it is always cheaper for us to stay at Shades of Green® Resort.
Shades of Green® Resort is an Armed Forces Recreation Center located at the Walt Disney World® Resort exclusively for use by military families. Many of our past military families have found that staying at one of the Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels utilizing Disney’s Armed Forces Salute discount has not only been just as economical, but provides them with more options and convenience. Details on Disney’s Armed Forces Salute can be found here.

With over 25 unique Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels available, finding the hotel to meet your family’s needs can be a difficult task! Count on your Magic Maker® to help guide you with this and every decision through your vacation planning! Put our years of knowledge and experience of the Walt Disney World® Resort to work for you and your family!

Breaking the Myths – Dining at Disney Parks

Dining at Disney Parks for some is just as much fun as a ride on Space Mountain®. With a wide variety of options, it’s no wonder that dining is a topic of confusion for our guests. Here is a look at 3 of our most common myths for dining:

  1. Myth: All of the Quick Service Dining locations offer the same foods
Each Quick Service Dining location throughout the Walt Disney World® and Disneyland® Resorts carries its own theme and a menu offering select tastes supporting that theme. While certain items like a hamburger or hot dog may be seen on most menus, several additional items will be available that aren’t quite so common. In fact, some may be exclusive to only that location! And don’t forget to check out the Quick Service Dining locations at the Resort Hotels as they also provide some great options.
  2. Myth: At Be Our Guest Restaurant inside Magic Kingdom® Park, you can choose a Quick Service meal or a Table Service meal at either lunch or dinner
Even years after its opening, Be Our Guest Restaurant is still a popular dining location located inside Beast’s Castle in the New Fantasyland® area. Be Our Guest Restaurant operates during the day at breakfast and lunch as a Quick Service Location and at night as a (2)-entitlement table service location for dinner. So, guests wanting to use a Quick Service credit on the Disney Dining Plan at Be Our Guest Restaurant can only do so at breakfast or lunch.
  3. Myth: There is no need to make Advance Dining Reservations for Disney Parks’ Restaurants
This is a myth that we have touched on before, but it is so important that it is worth talking about again! Advance Dining Reservations are an important part of planning your Walt Disney World® and Disneyland® Resort vacations. The Walt Disney World® Resort starts accepting Advanced Dining Reservations 180-days in advance of your arrival date and at the Disneyland® Resort it is 60 days. Many of the popular locations, like Character Dining and Dinner Shows, fill up shortly after starting to accept reservations. Because of capacity, these popular restaurants are not always able to accept walk-ins. So, while Advance Dining Reservations are not required, they are definitely recommended!

Contact your Magic Maker® today and explore how FUN eating at Disney Parks can be!
