As the days keep crossing off the calendar, we continue to inch closer and closer to the favorite seasons of many at Walt Disney World® Resort! To celebrate, Magic Kingdom® Park is throwing two magical parties that you just don’t want to miss!

These special ticketed events allow guests to celebrate the season along with some of their favorite Disney Characters while enjoying special entertainment and treats.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

This is your chance to don your favorite Halloween costume and trick-or-treat inside the Magic Kingdom® Park! But you won’t be the only one in costume – many of your favorite Disney Characters come dressed for the party as well! Since the tone of the party is “not-so-scary,” children of all ages will enjoy the happy haunts. Some of the night’s eerie entertainment highlights include seasonal stage shows, a special Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade, and a fireworks spectacular called Happy HalloWishes. And of course, enjoy many of your favorite Magic Kingdom® Park attractions with minimal wait times!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Celebrate this joyous season by attending a party overflowing with cheer and enchantment for all ages. When lights shimmer like ice on Cinderella Castle and holiday music fills the air, you can’t help but to be in the Christmas spirit! Entertainment highlights include seasonal stage shows, a special Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, and a fireworks spectacular called Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season. Additional yuletide magic includes unlimited cookies and hot cocoa, magical snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A.®, and access to many of your favorite Magic Kingdom® Park attractions.

When the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opens to guests, inside you’ll find an innovative, interactive queue to entertain young and old while they wait for the attraction. This queue is so cool – it’s almost an attraction to itself! There are three parts to the interactive queue:

• Jewel Sorting – Help the Dwarfs by matching the colors and shapes of the jewels as they flow through the wooden trough.
• Jewel Washing – Step 2 is cleaning off those precious jewels with the help of musical water spigots. Listen closely, you may hear familiar tunes!
• The Vault – Transform the ceiling of the Vault with the help of glimmering, glowing stones.

Just as the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Preview event at the Walt Disney World® Resort is beginning, a ride-through video of the attraction has been released.

Buckle up and take a ride on the crown jewel of New Fantasyland™! A warning that even though this video isn’t of the entire attraction, it does contain some “spoilers!”

A couple weeks ago, we brought you a first look at the new audio-animatronics® that will be inside the glittering diamond mines of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (Click here for that article). Today, Walt Disney Imagineering released a “behind the mines” video showing how they are bringing the Seven Dwarfs to life. The results are some of the most advanced audio-animatronics® ever created by the team. You’ll be amazed by the level of detail and authenticity in these figures!

Starting Monday, April 28, 2014, two improvements to Walt Disney World® Resort’s MyMagic+ system will take effect! Both of these two enhancements address common concerns expressed to us from our clients regarding FastPass+. CLICK HERE for additional information on MyMagic+.

• At this time, guests are limited to (3) FastPass+ selections per day. Starting Monday 4/28, guests will be able to select a rolling 4th selection at in-park kiosks. This 4th selection will only be available once your first 3 selections have been redeemed and is based on availability. After using the 4th, you can repeat that process and keep getting an additional FastPass+ throughout the day. If availability exists, you can even revisit one of your favorite attractions you have already experienced earlier in the day!
• Guests who have added the Park Hopper® Option to their Magic Your Way Ticket will be able to obtain their 4th FastPass+ selection in a different park after their first 3 have been used in their original park for the day.

Note: The 4th FastPass+ can only be obtained through one of the kiosks located throughout the parks. This option will not be available on the My Disney Experience app or website.

Anticipation is rising as the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction at Magic Kingdom® Park nears completion! The last phase in the New Fantasyland® expansion, this family coaster will utilize a first-of-its-kind system to take you on a race through the glittering diamond mines.

Similar to other Walt Disney World® attractions like Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid and Haunted Mansion®, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will feature an interactive queue to keep you busy while you wait! Doc has prepared some special mining stations along the way in which you can help the Dwarfs sort and wash the jewels.

While an official opening date has yet to be announced, Walt Disney Imagineering has provided this video showing the amazing Audio‐Animatronics® figures you will see during your adventure!

With Easter just a few days away, you’re running out of time to get your eggs decorated!

Over the past several weeks, some talented Cast Members at Disneyland® Park have been hard at work creating some pretty amazing Disney-themed Easter eggs during Springtime Roundup at Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree.
