Reservations Now Open for ‘A Galactic Spectacular’ Dessert Party

Looking for a sweet way to enjoy the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks show during your upcoming visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios®? We’ve found just what you’re looking for!

Reservations are currently open for the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. Taking place on select nights in 2016, the out-of-this-world dessert party will provide:

  • Preferred viewing area for the new Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks show
  • Star Wars™-themed desserts
  • Selection of specialty drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
  • Souvenir Chewbacca stein

Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party runs select nights through July 31, 2016. Pricing is $69/adult ages 10+ and $39 for children ages 3 to 9 (tax and gratuity included).

Because of the popularity of the new Frozen – Live at the Hyperion show at Disney’s California Adventure® Park, three new VIP experiences have been added to help guests have a little extra Frozen fun before the curtain rises!

Holiday Wishes Dessert Premium Package, which will be available on most party nights, will provide guests with some VIP experiences at an additional charge. You’ll receive:

  • Preferred viewing inside Town Square for the first Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
  • Preferred viewing for Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks spectacular at Tomorrowland® Terrace where a dessert party will also be provided featuring:
    • Themed desserts
    • Non-alcoholic drinks

Reservations Now Open for ‘Main Street Electrical Parade Dining Package’ at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant

Reservations are now open for a new Main Street Electrical Parade Dining Package that begins soon at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant!

This new offering will provide a Lady and the Tramp-inspired lunch and a VIP viewing of the Main Street Electrical Parade later that evening. It’s a great way to see one of the Magic Kingdom® Park’s most beloved nighttime spectaculars without worrying about saving your spot. The VIP viewing area will be located right in front of the flagpole on Main Street U.S.A.®

The dining package includes your choice of appetizer, entrée, dessert, beverage and your VIP viewing voucher. Pricing is $45 for adults and $17 for children ages 9 and under (tax and gratuity not included) or (1) table service entitlement per person on the Disney Dining Plans.

At this time, the package is available select nights Jun. 9 – Oct. 31, 2016. Contact your Magic Maker® to check availability.

Admission to Magic Kingdom park is required and is not included in the price of the dining package. You receive your voucher for the Main Street Electrical Parade Dining Package VIP viewing at the time of your meal. Your VIP voucher is only valid for the first showing of the Main Street Electrical Parade. Plan to arrive for Main Street, U.S.A. flagpole 15-to-35 minutes prior to show time. ‘Disney Early Morning Magic’ at Magic Kingdom® Park

Walt Disney World® Resort is featuring an event giving guests breakfast and early morning access to three favorite Magic Kingdom® Park Fantasyland® attractions.

On select mornings, Disney Early Morning Magic will allow limited-entry, first-access to Magic Kingdom® Park’s Fantasyland® before operating hours. This is a great option for guests who want to get a jump-start on their day at “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”

Entry requires purchase of regular theme park admission and a separate ticket to Disney Early Morning Magic

Official check-in will take place near the far left turnstiles of the Main Entrance to Magic Kingdom® park beginning at 7:30 AM. Guests who have purchased both regular theme park admission and a special event will receive an event sticker for identification upon check-in. Starting at 7:45 AM, event Guests will be admitted into the park and guided into Fantasyland®. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight® are the only attractions that will be operational during this special event. From 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, breakfast will be available at Pinocchio Village Haus. Around 9:00 AM, the theme park will open to Guests with regular Magic Kingdom admission tickets and event-only attraction access will end. Please note that regular theme park admission is required for this event, in addition to a Disney Early Morning Admission ticket. The number of tickets for these events is limited. New Experiences and Enhancements Set Sail on the Disney Wonder This Fall

Disney Cruise Line has announced some exciting new entertainment and experiences are in store for guests sailing aboard the Disney Wonder starting Nov. 10, 2016!

Changes will take place from stem to stern – providing new experiences and enhancing some existing features for guests of all ages. Here’s a quick look at what’s on deck:

  • Disney’s Oceaneer Club (Ages 3-12)
    • Marvel Super Hero Academy – Young guests will train to develop the brave and adventurous heroes inside themselves. Exclusively on the Disney Wonder, Marvel Super Hero Academy will offer extraordinary adventures in which each young guest plays an integral role. With the mentorship of some of Marvel’s greatest Super Heroes, young trainees will learn the value of teamwork, bravery and problem solving through hands-on play and programs.
    • Frozen Adventures – Fun takes the form of imaginative play and hands-on activities featuring characters from Frozen.
    • Club Disney Junior – features favorite Disney Junior characters, storytelling and games.
  • it’s a small world Nursery – This new nursery will delight the youngest cruisers.
  • Tiana’s Place Restaurant –  will transport guests to an era of southern charm, spirited jazz and street party celebrations with a menu influenced by southern-style cuisine. Live music will be performed on the main stage, with rhythmic, toe-tapping notes of jazz, swing and blues setting the tone for the French Quarter supper club atmosphere.
  • Route 66 Rethemed as After Hours
    • A brand-new pub featuring a selection of British and specialty beers will invite guests to take a jaunt to an authentic English tavern. The pub will feature subtle nods to classic Disney films set in London.
    • Also making a debut is an all-new night club and a shiny new model of the popular Cadillac Lounge
  • A reimagined and relaxing Senses Spa & Salon and a new Chill Teen Spa
  • Animator’s Palate – will be updated to include the popular “Drawn to Magic” and “Animation Magic” dinner shows
  • Studio Sea will change to D Lounge for family games and entertainment
  • Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will be added to provide magical makeovers for children ages 3-12
  • Refresh to the Edge club for tweens
  • Beach Blanket Buffet will become Cabanas

If you aren’t familiar with runDisney races, they are family-friendly running events that are held at the Walt Disney World® and Disneyland® Resorts. Ranging from 5K to marathons and even kids runs, the races are a creative way to bring new runners to the sport by utilizing the popularity of Disney Parks. It’s a perfect match! So perfect, in fact, that runDisney has become one of the largest race organizers in the United States – both in terms of the number of races and runners. Each year more than 200,000 runners participate in a runDisney event!

Disney Cruise Line Returns to Popular Home Ports in Fall 2017

In the fall of 2017, Disney Cruise Line will return to the popular home ports of New York, Galveston, and San Diego! In addition to amazing itineraries and ports of call, many of the late 2017 cruises include either Halloween or winter-holiday events – bringing special entertainment, activities and décor to the Disney Cruise Line ships.

New Canada Coast Itinerary and New Ports from New York

Disney Cruise Line will bring a mix of voyages that include Canada coast and Bahamas itineraries when they return to New York City in the fall of 2017!

The line’s longest-ever voyage to the Atlantic Canada coast will include a new port of call – Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Bar Harbor, Maine, is another new port of call that will be part of a five-night sailing that also includes a stop at Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

A total of (6) seven- and eight-night sailings to the Bahamas, all including a visit to Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, and a day at the Walt Disney World® Resort, will be a part of the 2017 New York season.

In September and October of 2017, the Disney Wonder will return to San Diego with a variety of cruises to Baja and the Mexican Riviera.

On most Baja sailings, visit Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada, Mexico, to enjoy world-famous beaches and snorkeling.

Mexican Riviera itineraries feature snorkeling and scuba diving hot spots, while Puerto Vallerta and Mazatlan are where cliff divers, culture and ziplining through the jungle canopy take center stage. Four, Five, and Seven-night itineraries set sail during the season in San Diego.

Disney Cruise Line returns to Galveston in November and December 2017 with a full line up of seven-night cruises to the Western Caribbean and the Bahamas.

The Western Caribbean itinerary will make stops in Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Falmouth, Jamaica. The Bahamian itinerary will make stops in Key West, Nassau and the always popular Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas!
