Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning visits Walt Disney World

After a 21-17 win over the New England Patriots, the New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning made a visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort today. Shortly after his win, Manning proclaimed “I’m going to Disney World!” Joined by NFL Youth football players, Eli was honored in a special ticker-tape parade Monday afternoon inside the Magic Kingdom® Park.

Manning’s “I’m going to Disney World” commercial was the 45th in series that begin in 1987 following Super Bowl XXI. Each commercial, airing just hours after the conclusion of current events, celebrates the milestone accomplishments of people from sports and beyond.

Disney Cruise LineCondé Nast Traveler, one of the world’s premier travel magazines, recently announced the winners of their 2012 “Top 100 Cruise Ships in the World” survey. In the Large Cruise Ship category, Disney Cruise Line® received top ratings!

The Disney Magic®, Disney Cruise Line’s® first ship which debuted in 1998, was ranked No. 1.  The 2,700 passenger ship also earned top honors for both “shore excursions” and “crew/service” categories. The Disney Dream™ and Disney Wonder® tied for second place in the Large Cruise Ship category. The Disney Dream™ was also awarded for with having the best “activities/facilities.”

Atlanta Braves Spring TrainingWith one major sport ending tomorrow with the Super Bowl, that means the start of Major League Baseball is right around the corner.

Spring Training for Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves will return to the Walt Disney World® Resort for the 15th consecutive year. With their sights set on the World Series, the Braves will start their journey at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex’s Champion Stadium.
