To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the beloved Disney classic film The Lion King, Walt Disney Worldยฎ Resort has announced the addition of Harambe Nights. Making its debut in June 2014, the park’s first-ever ticketed special event will include a welcome reception, dazzling theatrical production, and a lively post-show street party.
Here are some details on the event:
Harambe Nights will take place every Saturday Jun. 7-Aug. 9, 2014 from 7p-10:30p. Pricing for general admission of the event is $119 ages 10+; $79 ages 9 and under. Upgraded premium floor seating tickets run $134 ages 10+; $94 ages 9 and under.

When the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opens to guests, inside you’ll find an innovative, interactive queue to entertain young and old while they wait for the attraction. This queue is so cool – it’s almost an attraction to itself! There are three parts to the interactive queue:
Just as the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Preview event at the Walt Disney Worldยฎ Resort is beginning, a ride-through video of the attraction has been released.

A couple weeks ago, we brought you a first look at the new audio-animatronicsยฎ that will be inside the glittering diamond mines of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (Click here for that article). Today, Walt Disney Imagineering released a “behind the mines” video showing how they are bringing the Seven Dwarfs to life. The results are some of the most advanced audio-animatronicsยฎ ever created by the team. You’ll be amazed by the level of detail and authenticity in these figures!
