Late 2013 Itineraries Now Available for Disney Magic® & Disney Wonder® Cruise Ships

All Aboard!

This week, Disney Cruise Line® announced and opened bookings for the remainder of their 2013 itineraries.

Announced earlier this year, the Disney Dream™ and Disney Fantasy™ will continue to sail a variety of Caribbean and Bahamian itineraries in 2013, both departing from Port Canaveral.

The Disney Magic® is currently sailing from Manhattan and will reposition to Galveston in September to sail a Western Carribbean itinerary through May 2013. Then she will sail transatlantic to Barcelona and run various Mediterranean sailings through the end of August 2013. After, the Disney Magic® will call the Port of Miami home as it offers Western Caribbean and Bahamian cruises from mid-October through the end of 2013.

The Disney Wonder® will finish its current Alaskan cruises from Seattle before returning to Los Angeles in September. From Los Angeles, the Disney Wonder® will sail Hawaii, Mexican Riviera, and California Coast cruises before it sails the Panama Canal in route to Miami in December 2012. Caribbean cruises from Miami will will available late December 2012-May 2013 when the Disney Wonder® once again heads to the West Coast for Alaskan cruises departing from Vancouver late May – September 2013. After finishing on the Alaskan itinerary, Galveston, TX will be the home port for the Disney Wonder® for Western Caribbean sailings departing late September through the end of 2013.

Disney Cruises 2013 with New Ports and Itineraries

Disney Cruise Line® will sail from and make visits to new ports in 2013! Exciting new itineraries include an European cruise with visits to Venice Italy and the Greek Isles. The Port of Miami will also serve as a second home port in Florida offering Caribbean sailings.

Bookings for the new 2013 sailings begin Jan. 26, 2012. Here is a sneak peek at some of the highlights of the new schedule:

Mediterranean via Barcelona – Disney Cruises 2013

Disney Cruises 2013The Disney Magic® returns to Europe on June 1, 2013, with an updated Mediterranean itineraries. Guest will have a choice of a four-night option and special 12-night sailings in addition to seven-night itineraries treating guests to the best of Europe.

The new 12-night sailings visit destinations such as Venice, Italy, and Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast on one itinerary and Ephesus, Turkey and the Greek Isles including Athens, on another. Each itinerary will offer a sailing departing in June and another departing in July.

All itineraries depart from Barcelona, Spain. Rates start at $796 per person for four-night cruises, $1,015 per person for seven-night cruises and $2,244 for 12-night cruises for a standard inside stateroom, based on double occupancy.

Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Miami – Disney Cruises 2013

The Disney Wonder® will call Miami home from Jan. 5, 2013, to May 2, 2013. Starting off with one seven- and one six-night Caribbean sailing,  the schedule will transition to four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean.  These four- and five-night cruises have a variety of itineraries. Ports of call may include Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman; Key West; Nassau, Bahamas, and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.

Rates for four- and five-night cruises departing from Miami start at $440 per person for a standard inside stateroom, based on double occupancy.

Western Caribbean from Galveston – Disney Cruises 2013

The Disney Magic®, which begins sailing from Texas later in 2012, will continue to sail to the Western Caribbean from the Port of Galveston through May 2013.

Rates start at $750 per person for six-night cruises and $920 per person for eight-night cruises departing from Galveston for a standard inside stateroom, based on double occupancy.

Alaska from Vancouver – Disney Cruises 2013

Disney Cruises 2013The Disney Wonder® will sail seven-night cruises from Vancouver to Tracy Arm, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan, Alaska beginning May 27, 2013 .

These sailings include family-friendly Port Adventures that are exclusive-to-Disney and allow guests to best experience Alaska’s natural beauty and rich history. Rates for seven-night Alaska cruises departing from Vancouver start at $1,015 per person for a standard inside stateroom, based on double occupancy.

The Disney Wonder® will offer three repositioning sailings in 2012-2013.

  • 2012 Departure date: Dec. 9

     14-Night Panama Canal Repositioning Cruise – Miami to Los Angeles

  • Ports: Miami, Cartagena Columbia, Panama Canal, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Los Angeles

    7-Night Pacific Coast Cruise Cruise – Los Angeles to Vancouver

The Disney Magic® will offer a repositioning sailing from the Port of Galveston to Barcelona, Spain.

Caribbean and Bahamas from Port Canaveral – Disney Cruises 2013

No major changes will be made for the itineraries of the Disney Dream™ and Disney Fantasy™ in 2013.

The Disney Fantasy™ will sail out of Port Canaveral on seven-night Caribbean itineraries – alternating eastern (St. Maarten and St. Thomas) and western (Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel). Disney Cruise Line® will add a stop to San Juan, Puerto Rico to the Eastern Caribbean sailings, Jan. – Apr. 2013. All Disney Fantasy™ itineraries include a stop at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. Rates for seven-night Caribbean cruises on the Disney Fantasy™ start at $1,085 per person for a standard inside stateroom, based on double occupancy.

The Disney Dream™ will sail three-, four- and five-night cruises from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. Rates for three- and four-night Bahamian cruises on the Disney Dream™ start at $450 per person for a standard inside stateroom, based on double occupancy.

New Disney Cruise Line Itineraries

Disney Cruise Line

For the first time ever, Disney Cruise Line® will set sail from three new ports in 2012 – New York, Seattle and Galveston – making the Disney family cruisevacation more accessible to everyone around the country. There are also more itinerary choices than ever before, including one special voyage to Hawai‘i.

New York Sailings
Beginning May 25, 2012, the Disney Magic® will sail a total of 20 cruises from New York.

  • 8-night Bahamian cruises include a day at Disney’s Castaway Cay, Nassau, and a stop at Port Canaveral, gateway to the Walt Disney World® Resort. As part of this itinerary, you will receive a one-day Park Hopper® Ticket and roundtrip transportation between the ship and resort. (5/25, 6/2, 6/22, 6/30, 7/20, 7/28, 8/17, 8/25)
  • 5-night Canadian/New England cruises will visit Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Saint John, New Brunswick (6/10, 6/17, 7/8, 7/15, 8/5, 8/12, 9/2, 9/7, 9/12)

Seattle Sailings
Beginning May 28, 2012, the Disney Wonder® will sail a total of 14 cruises to Alaska from the Port of Seattle, Wash.

  • 7-night Alaskan cruises will call on Tracy Arm, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan plus Victoria, British Columbia.

Galveston Sailings
Beginning Sept. 22, 2012, the Disney Magic® will sail 12 cruises from the Port of Galveston, Texas.

  • 7-night Western Caribbean cruises will visit Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico, as well as Grand Cayman. (9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/1, 12/8)

Los Angeles Sailings
In addition to 7-night Mexican Riviera cruises, the Disney Wonder® will set sail on Disney’s first-ever voyage to Hawai‘i on April 29, 2012.

  • 15-night Hawaiian cruise departs from the Port of Los Angeles and includes stops at Hilo; Kahului, Maui; Honolulu, Oahu; Nawiliwili, Kauai and Ensenada, Mexico (April 29, 2012)
  • 7-night Pacific Coast cruises will call on San Francisco, San Diego and Ensenada, Mexico (5/14 sailing with stops in San Francisco, Vancouver, BC; Victoria, BC and 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7 sailings with stops in San Francisco, San Diego, Ensenada, Mexico)

The Disney Dream™ will continue to sail 3-, 4- and 5-night Bahamian cruises. The new Disney Fantasy™ will offer Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, beginning with the maiden voyage on March 31, 2012. Sail dates for both ships are now available through December 2012.
