Winter Storm Nemo Complicating Travel

Home/Disney News, Walt Disney World News/Winter Storm Nemo Complicating Travel

Dumping up to 38 inches of snow in some parts of the Northeast, Winter Storm Nemo is making his presence known! As expected, travel to and from the area has come to a standstill.

Travel will continue to be complicated for our guests in the Northeast corridor today. Orlando International Airport (MCO), the main airport servicing the Walt Disney World® Resort, experienced over 70 flight cancellations Friday because of the storm. As of 10am, approximately 90 have been cancelled for Saturday. Airports most affected by the storm include those in Boston, Hartford, Providence, Syracuse, and the NYC-area.

All guests are encouraged to contact their airlines before traveling to the airport. For any questions or concerns, please contact your Magic Maker®.
