Disney Cruise Line Releases Early 2021 Itineraries

Disney Cruise Line has released itineraries through May of 2021, continuing the magic in favorite ports of call in the Caribbean, Bahamas and Mexican Riviera!

Disney Cruise Line will be setting sail to so many fantastic places! They’ve selected the most stunning destinations in the world for your family to explore and make memories. From timeless tropical locales to breathtaking golden beaches, the decision on which itinerary to select can be difficult. But with many East Coast itineraries featuring a stop at Disney Castaway Cay – Disneyโ€™s private island paradise reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests – any choice is a good one!

Back by popular demand, the Disney Wonder will once again call the bayou home for sailings in January and February 2021. Itineraries include aย pair of four- and five-night cruises to the Western Caribbean, three seven-night sailings to the Bahamas with a stop at Castaway Cay, and a 14-night Panama Canal cruise ending in San Diego.

from Galveston, TX and San Diego, CA

The Disney Wonder will also return to the popular home ports of Galveston and San Diego in early 2021. Itineraries from Texas include a series of four- and six-night Western Caribbean cruises and one seven-night Bahamian departure with stops at Key West, Nassau and Castaway Cay. From California, a variety of three-, four- and five-night Baja and seven-night Mexican Riviera sailings will be offered as well as one five-night Pacific Coast sailing to Vancouver.

Disney Cruise Line will have three ships sailing to the Bahamas and Caribbean from Florida in early 2021, with every cruise including a day at Disney Castaway Cay! In Miami, the Disney Magic will sail three-, four- and five-night Bahamian and Western Caribbean cruises. From Port Canaveral, the Disney Fantasy will sail seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries while the Disney Dream will sail three- and four-night Bahamian cruises.

Bookings for early 2021 open to the general public on Oct. 3, 2019 with advance booking opportunities for Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club Members according to the following schedule:

Plant-Based Dining Expanding at Disney Parks Restaurants

Now, Disney Parks has announced that hundreds of plant-based dishes will be added to the menus at both Walt Disney Worldยฎ and Disneylandยฎ Resorts! These fun and flavorful options will be coming first to the Walt Disney Worldยฎ Resort in Florida (Oct. 1 for quick service locations and Oct. 3 for table service locations) and later in spring 2020 at the Disneylandยฎ Resort. All of the major Disney-owned quick service and table service restaurants will have at least one offering which will be easily identifiable by a new plant-based menu icon designation.

Not quite sure what a plant-based dish is? It’s a meal made with ingredients like vegetables, legumes, fruits, grains, nuts, and seeds โ€“ and made without animal meat, eggs, dairy, or honey! As just a taste of what’s to come, some of the upcoming dishes include Steamed Asian Dumplings, Shiriki Noodle Salad, Felucian Garden Spread, Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl and Plant-Based Cashew Cheesecake.

Oogie Boogie Bash โ€“ A Disney Halloween Party Announced for Disney California Adventureยฎ Park

Disneylandยฎ Resort in Southern California has announced details for Halloween Time taking place Sep. 6 through Oct. 31, 2019.

During Halloween Time, the entireย Disneylandยฎ Resort area is decorated for the most be-witching time of the year. Several attractions are slated to receive their always popular holiday overlays, including Theย Haunted Mansion, Guardians of the Galaxy, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. Halloween Screams nighttime spectacular will return nightly to Disneylandยฎ Park, with fireworks added to the show on select nights. In Disney California Adventureยฎ Park, Plaza de la Familia will return to Paradise Gardens Park to celebrate the spirit of Dรญa de los Muertos.ย  And throughout the resorts, you’ll find creepy keepsakes and witch-worthy snacks to celebrate the season.

New for 2019 to the Halloween Time at Disneylandยฎ Resort offerings is Oogie Boogie Bash โ€“ A Disney Halloween Party. This special-ticketed event allows guests young and old to don a costume and trick-or-treat in Anaheim’s ultimate neighborhood, theย Disney California Adventureยฎ Park! You’ll even see the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow make his spooky ride through the park each night of the party! Highlights of the new Oogie Boogie Bash โ€“ A Disney Halloween Partyย include:

  • A new World of Color show called โ€œVillainous!โ€
  • Redwood Creek Challenge Trail transformation by Disney villains
  • Immersive Treat Trails
  • A new DescenDance dance party inspired by Disney Channel’s โ€œDescendantsโ€
  • The guest-favorite โ€œFrightfully Fun Paradeโ€
  • A new Mickeyโ€™s Trick and Treat show that’s perfect for young guests
  • Character encounters of beloved Disney characters ยญand villains, too.
