Using Mobile Order at the Walt Disney World® Resort

Our Magic Makers® are always looking for ways to make the most of every minute of our guest’s vacation time! From prioritizing attractions to utilizing the FastPass+ system to its full potential, we have plenty of tips and tricks to share! The Walt Disney World® Resort’s Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering system is one of them!

While the Mobile Order system was introduced back in May of 2017, the program continues to be enhanced and more participating locations are added often to make it it even better! By utilizing the My Disney Experience mobile app on your iPhone or Android device, you can place your order and minimize your wait. Here’s how:

Skip the Line to Order

From the main menu of your My Disney Experience app, press + and then “Order Food” button. Select the participating Quick-Service location you’d like to order from and then click “Order Food”. Select the menu items that you want to order, filling your cart with your entire selection.

Pay Using the App

Once you’ve added your entire order, it’s time to review it and purchase it right from the app. The Mobile Order system currently accept credit cards, debit cards and Disney dining plans entitlements as forms of payment.

NOTE: If you have any dietary concerns or would like to use Disney Gift Cards or any discounts that may be available to you, you’ll need to order in person at the restaurant.

Check In When You Arrive

The beauty of Mobile Ordering is that you can make your selections in advance (like while you are waiting in line for an attraction), but your food won’t start being prepared until you check in at the restaurant!

When you arrive at the restaurant, open the app and press the “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” button from your main screen. When your food is ready to enjoy, you will receive a notification from the app and you’ll pick up your meal at the area with the “Mobile Order Pick Up” sign!

Disney Cruise Line Releases Early 2021 Itineraries

Disney Cruise Line has released itineraries through May of 2021, continuing the magic in favorite ports of call in the Caribbean, Bahamas and Mexican Riviera!

Disney Cruise Line will be setting sail to so many fantastic places! They’ve selected the most stunning destinations in the world for your family to explore and make memories. From timeless tropical locales to breathtaking golden beaches, the decision on which itinerary to select can be difficult. But with many East Coast itineraries featuring a stop at Disney Castaway Cay – Disney’s private island paradise reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests – any choice is a good one!

Back by popular demand, the Disney Wonder will once again call the bayou home for sailings in January and February 2021. Itineraries include a pair of four- and five-night cruises to the Western Caribbean, three seven-night sailings to the Bahamas with a stop at Castaway Cay, and a 14-night Panama Canal cruise ending in San Diego.

The Disney Wonder will also return to the popular home ports of Galveston and San Diego in early 2021. Itineraries from Texas include a series of four- and six-night Western Caribbean cruises and one seven-night Bahamian departure with stops at Key West, Nassau and Castaway Cay. From California, a variety of three-, four- and five-night Baja and seven-night Mexican Riviera sailings will be offered as well as one five-night Pacific Coast sailing to Vancouver.

Disney Cruise Line will have three ships sailing to the Bahamas and Caribbean from Florida in early 2021, with every cruise including a day at Disney Castaway Cay! In Miami, the Disney Magic will sail three-, four- and five-night Bahamian and Western Caribbean cruises. From Port Canaveral, the Disney Fantasy will sail seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries while the Disney Dream will sail three- and four-night Bahamian cruises.

Plant-Based Dining Expanding at Disney Parks Restaurants

For years, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts has been industry leaders when it comes to special diets. Whether a dietary restriction, food allergy or even a lifestyle diet, the chefs go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. Click here for more information on dietary restrictions.

Now, Disney Parks has announced that hundreds of plant-based dishes will be added to the menus at both Walt Disney World® and Disneyland® Resorts! These fun and flavorful options will be coming first to the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida (Oct. 1 for quick service locations and Oct. 3 for table service locations) and later in spring 2020 at the Disneyland® Resort. All of the major Disney-owned quick service and table service restaurants will have at least one offering which will be easily identifiable by a new plant-based menu icon designation.

Not quite sure what a plant-based dish is? It’s a meal made with ingredients like vegetables, legumes, fruits, grains, nuts, and seeds – and made without animal meat, eggs, dairy, or honey! As just a taste of what’s to come, some of the upcoming dishes include Steamed Asian Dumplings, Shiriki Noodle Salad, Felucian Garden Spread, Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl and Plant-Based Cashew Cheesecake.
